– Raw took a backslide in the ratings this week, down from the previous two episodes. Monday night’s episode scored a 1.19 rating and 3.346 million viewers, down 5% and 2% from last week’s 1.25 demo rating and 3.429 million viewers. While down from the post-WrestleMania numbers, both metrics were still above all episodes in February and March, meaning that at this point at least the show is sustaining more of its WrestleMania bounce than in recent years.

By comparison, in 2016 the third episode after WrestleMania 32 the ratings and viewership had fallen below all of the “Road to WrestleMania” post-Royal Rumble numbers. A similar pattern happened in 2015 and 2014. Whether the relative stability will remain is still yet to be seen, of course. That said, last night’s numbers were essentially even with the numbers from the same episode last year (1.19 demo rating, 3.336 million viewers) which is something WWE has to be happy with.

Raw ranked #5 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, behind Love & Hip-Hop on VH1 (1.58 demo rating, 3.14 million viewers), two NBA Playoff games on TNT (1.47/3.582 million and 1.33/3.174 million) and VH1’s Basketball Wives (1.27/2.614 million). The hourly numbers were:

8 PM: 1.17 demo rating (3.405 million viewers)
9 PM: 1.22 demo rating (3.469 million viewers)
10 PM: 1.18 demo rating (3.165 million viewers)
