WWE News: Legion of Doom Trademark Filed, More NXT Shows Announced
– WWE applied for a new trademark for the phrase “Legon of Doom” on June 10th. This is, of course, the name that the Road Warriors used in WWE. The speculation seems to be that this is what the Authors of Pain will be using since they are Paul Ellering’s new tag team in NXT, but there is no confirmation on that and WWE could just be reclaiming the name. It is, however, notable that the trademark is registered for “Entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio.”
