Danny Birdwell's Top 10 (err 8) Worst Wrestlemania Moments

8. Pete Rose attacking Kane (WM 14-2000) - I’ll admit it is funny as hell, but why not have someone TRULY annoying like David Arquette attack Kane and get the hell beat out of him not a sports legend.

7. Shane McMahon wins WWF European Title from X-Pac (WM 15) - Of course Shane has shown a lot of improvement since then, but I’ve never liked the cheapening of a title. At the time this made the Euro Title somewhat of a joke. It didn’t hurt my feelings he took it from X-Pac though.

6. Undertaker defeats Sid for WWF Title (WM 13) - This gets my vote as worst WM main event. The only saving grace here was that Undertaker got the strap off of Sid.

5. The Rock defeats The Sultan in an Intercontinental Title match (WM 13) - The Rock was not yet “The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment” and it shows. This was my worst WM Intercontinental Title match.

4. Warrior destroys the then undefeated Triple H - This match was absolutely pointless as The Ultimate One left the WWF shortly after this match as quickly as he came back. Again, why destroy an up-and-coming heel. Of course I think Triple H has turned out ok.

3. Yokozuna wins WWF Title, then loses it (WM 9) - Why build up a monster heel like Yoko, have him win the title, then lose it a few seconds later? Oh I forgot… it’s Hulk Hogan.

2. Butterbean beats the hell out of Bart Gunn in the Brawl for All (WM 15) - Terrible match, terrible idea.

1. Undertaker beats Big Boss Man in Hell in the Cell (WM 15) - Need I say more? Aside from the Kennel From Hell match, which the Bossman was also involved (I see a pattern here), this was about the worst cage match I’ve ever seen.
