Wrestlemania is to professional wrestling as the Super Bowl is to professional football. It is the most famous event of the year, and has, for the past 16 years, provided some of the most amazing moments in wrestling history. It was a tough task, but using input from much of the 411wrestling.com staff, we have compiled the definitive list of the ten greatest Wrestlemania matches or moments. From Thursday March 22 until Saturday March 31, the ten moments will be posted one per day until #1. Then on April 1, we will post the individual lists of all contributors.
#10 - Wrestlemnia I | The Legend Begins
With monthly PPVs now a commonplace in professional wrestling, it's difficult to conceive of a time where they didn't exist. It took Vince McMahon's vision to create Wrestlemania, which paved the way for wrestling as it is today.

#9 - Wrestlemania X | Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels Are Iron Men
The WWF's two best wrestlers at the time, and two of the best that have ever been in the WWF went one on one in the main event of Wrestlemania 12. In a match which exceeded the amazing one hour time limit with no winner, Shawn Michaels not only won the title, but changed Bret Hart's career forever.

At the peak of Hulkamania, the ultimate bad guy to Hogan's milk drinking good guy was Andre the Giant. While the match will never be considered a 5 star classic, Hogan vs Andre was one for the ages.

#3 - Wrestlemania VI | Hogan Vs. Warrior
At a time when big, muscle-bound men ruled the WWF, Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior were the kings. The hype, the storyline, and the match were planned to the smallest detail, and it made for one of the greatest stories ever told in the wrestling world.
