You’ve seen the awards on all other sites, and usually they have lame, cliché categories like “Promotion of the Year,” “TV Show of the Year,” and “PPV of the Year.” Well, since there is basically no way the WWF will lose any of those categories this year, and they are boring anyway, the First Annual 411wrestling.com Awards will try and break the traditional molds.

Sure, there will be some ordinary categories, but there will also be categories for 411 staff members and some unconventional categories as well. In all, there will be 25 categories, each with nominees. The categories and nominees will be announced on December 19, 2000. Then, 411wrestling.com readers will be encouraged to vote on these categories until December 25, 2000. The votes will be tallied by 411 staff (actually Widro) and the results will be announced on December 28, 2000.
