#10-Warrior vs. Hogan: Although a subsequent rematch years later would turn out less then stellar, Warrior Hogan Part 1 was a truly epic matchup between 2 of the companies top guys and arguably the biggest Draws ever and it will not be forgotten by wrestling Fans anytime soon.

#9-Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon ladder match part 1:This match is probably one of the greatest matches of all time. Not only is the concept a truly great one (you want the belt that bad? Climb a ladder and go get it), but the work from both men made this one of those matches I will never forget. The shocking part is that this match would be topped by a rematch a year or so later. But for it's time there was nothing close.

#8-Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker: Hell in a cell-Better than any of the ladder matches, this match featured a giant cage 15 feet high that would extend out as far as the safety rails. Again, with Shawn Michaels Incredible ring work, he helped carry this match to the best of the decade. Although the ending left much to be desired, this is still a match that will be talked about for quite some time.

#7-ECW gets a national cable deal: Starting out as a tiny little blip on the huge wrestling scene, ECW managed through word of mouth and an extrwemly loyal fanbase and a cast of very loyal performers, become the third biggest wrestling promotion in the company today. It all Culminated when ECW secured a national Cable deal that will insure thier product will be around for a long time to come. ECW's innovations would go on to be borrowed by the other 2 big companies.

#6-Austin 3:16 Born at KOTR 96: One little interview by a barely over heel jumpstated what would become the single biggest name in wrestling ever. Not bad for someone deemed unmarketable.

#5-Vince Russo/Ed Ferrara jumps to WCW: The 2 people credited with taking the WWF to the top all of a sudden with no warning jump to WCW. Although it is too soon to tell if they will have any impact on jumpstarting WCW, there is no Doubt that the move managed to create a huge buzz that lasted for weeks and is still the topic of many discussions among wrestling fans.

#4-WCW champion Ric Flair jumps to WWF: In one of the most shocking events ever, WCW champion at the time Ric Flair jumps to the WWF while WCW champion. This was a huge blow in which WCW was barley able to recover, but also brought us some of the most memorable WWF fueds ever.

#3-Eric Bischoff Hired to take control of WCW: With only past experience as an announcer in an Indy fed that folded, Eric Bischoff was hired by WCW and he had a vision....to create an orginization that would not only compete with the WWF, but would dominate it. By using Ted Turners pockets Eric Bischoff was able to woo wrestlers Kevin nash and Scott Hall from the WWF and Create the NWO with hall nash and Hogan, This angle (arguably one of the greatest ever) put WCW on top. Its only Ironic that the same angle would eventually lead to WCW's freefall, and Eric Bischoff's ousting.

#2-The Imfamous Steriod Trial-Although Vince Mcmahon was found Not Guilty, the Impact of this trial had far reaching effects. Top level industry secrets were exposed, It was found out that most wrestlers were using steroids...it was also the first time we ever really saw Kayfabe(Performers out of character). We saw and heard about the real life problems outside the ring...the pressures everyone endures to succeed. Wrestling was never the same after this trial.
