Bellator Fighter Jordan Parsons Loses Part of Leg Following Hit-And-Run Accident

Bellator featherweight Jordan Parsons has reportedly been severely injured during a hit-and-run incident last night in Delray Beach, Florida. MMA Fighting reports that Jordan was struck by a vehicle last night and had to have a portion of his leg amputated.

Bellator sent 411 a press release confirming the new,s which red: “Bellator has been informed of a terrible accident that occurred last night involving featherweight fighter Jordan Parsons, who was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident. We are still in the process of uncovering details and with his family’s consent, hope to have an update on his medical condition soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan and his family as he recovers. The hit-and-run occurred on Lindell Blvd. and South Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Florida. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Delray Beach Police Department at (561) 243-7800.”

Blackzilians teammate Rashad Evans also commented, posting to Instagram, “Everyone say a prayer for my teammate @prettyboymma_jp who was hit by a car in a hit and run accident last night walking home. Jordan is now fighting for his life in a coma with an amputated leg. Life is unbelievably fragile and precious.#pray#blackzilians#jordanparsons”
